HireDetailing (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the website at hiredetailing.com. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices regarding that information.

Information We Collect

Account information. When you claim a listing on HireDetailing, we collect your email address and password to create your account.

Business information. Listing owners provide business details including business name, city, state, phone number, website URL, services offered, hours of operation, and other profile information. This information is displayed publicly on your listing.

Contact form submissions. When someone submits a contact form on a listing, we collect their name, email address, phone number, and message. These submissions are stored as leads and delivered to the listing owner.

Usage data. We use Vercel Analytics to collect anonymous usage data such as page views and general traffic patterns. Vercel Analytics does not collect personally identifiable information.

Google Places data.Listing owners may import photos and reviews from Google Places to enhance their profile. This data originates from Google’s public business listings.

Payment information. Pro subscription payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers or full payment details on our servers. Stripe handles all payment data in accordance with PCI-DSS standards.

How We Use Your Information

• Display business listings publicly on HireDetailing so customers can find mobile detailers in their area.
• Deliver contact form leads to listing owners via their dashboard.
• Send transactional emails such as account confirmation and password reset messages.
• Send marketing emails about upgrading to Pro via Loops.so. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in each email.
• Send SMS messages to unclaimed listing phone numbers to inform business owners that their listing exists and can be claimed (see SMS Communications below).
• Process payments for Pro subscriptions through Stripe.

SMS Communications

Program name: HireDetailing

We may send SMS messages to phone numbers associated with unclaimed business listings on HireDetailing. These messages inform business owners that a listing for their business exists on our platform and can be claimed and managed by them.

• Message frequency: Maximum of 3 messages over a 45-day period.
• Message and data rates may apply.
• Text STOP to opt out at any time.
• Text HELP for support.
• Contact us at support@hiredetailing.com for any questions about SMS communications.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate HireDetailing. Each service receives only the data necessary to perform its function:

• Supabase— database hosting and user authentication.
• Stripe— payment processing for Pro subscriptions.
• Vercel— website hosting and anonymous analytics.
• Google Places API— importing public business data, photos, and reviews.
• Loops.so— email marketing communications.
• Twilio— SMS messaging.
• Apify— collecting business data from publicly available sources.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We share data only with the service providers listed above, and only to the extent necessary to operate HireDetailing. Business listing information (name, city, services, etc.) is displayed publicly by design — that is the purpose of the directory.

Data Retention

Account and listing data is retained until you request deletion. Contact form leads are kept indefinitely to ensure listing owners have a complete record of inquiries. SMS communication logs are retained for compliance purposes.

Your Rights

You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing support@hiredetailing.com. We will process deletion requests within 30 days. Note that publicly displayed business information from third-party sources (such as Google Places) may be retained separately from your account.

Cookies

HireDetailing uses minimal, session-based cookies for authentication purposes only. These cookies are managed by Supabase Auth and are required to keep you logged in. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
